Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements: 5 years of SAP Basis experience Proven hands-on involvement in at least one SAP carve-out or divestiture Strong experience with homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies Proficiency in logical system changes (BDLS) Experience with Transport Management System (TMS) Knowledge of RFC/ALE/IDoc reconfiguration Experience supporting Day 1 cutover execution Strong troubleshooting capability under pressure Responsibilities: Execute system and client copies across SAP landscapes (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) Perform post-copy technical activities including BDLS, logical system updates, and RFC realignment Reconfigure transport routes and landscape topology Support system shell creation and environment rebuilds Troubleshoot technical separation issues in real time during cutover Handle core SAP Basis administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and patching Manage kernel upgrades and SAP Notes implementation Monitor and tune performance, and manage background jobs Restructure user and role post-separation Support database activities including SAP HANA administration, migrations, and system refreshes Assist with cloud-hosted environments (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) Configure backup, high availability, and disaster recovery setups Deliver against tight carve-out deadlines and maintain clear technical risk visibility Focus on efficiency and support Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) timelines and exit plans Technologies: AWS Azure Cloud IDoc Support SAP LESS Web More: We are a market-leading consultancy based in London, offering hybrid working opportunities.
