Are you a skilled Receptionist currently working within a GP practice but seeking a fresh challenge? We are looking for apassionate, resilient, and highly organised individual to join our client's healthcare business.
You will be the first point of contact for service users and vulnerable patients, ensuring they receive a professional and empathetic wee during their visit.
The RoleAs the face of the service, you will manage a busy front-of-house reception while maintaining the integrity of patient data. Your day-to-day will include:
1. Patient Coordination: Meeting and greeting service users, supporting access to self-managed care, and booking appointments via the Inform EPR and SystmOne systems.
2. Data & Records: Maintaining patient records in line with Information Management policies, including updating demographics, scanning, and archiving.
3. Clinic Support: Working alongside nursing staff to support the smooth operation and closure of clinical venues.
What You’ll Need (Essential Criteria)
4. SystmOne Expertise: You must have a sound, working knowledge of SystmOne. This is essential for the role.
5. GP Practice Experience: Ideally, you are currently (or have recently been) working within a GP surgery or similar primary care environment.
6. Resilience & Empathy: You must feelfortable and confident working face-to-face with vulnerable patients, maintaining total discretion and professionalism.
7. Experience withputer-based information systems and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
