Our client is a global financial services provider offering banking, trust, funds and corporate services solutions to a multi-jurisdictional client base. For their significant Guernsey office we are looking for an operational risk manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and forming robust operational risk frameworks in line with best industry and regulatory requirements. This will involve extensive collaboration with multiple business units assessing and mitigating risks, conducting risk assessments and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders.
Applicants should have at least 8 years relevant experience in a regulated financial services company, have demonstrable knowledge of risk management principles and tools. Familiarity with Channel Islands banking regulations and experience of working in an offshore jurisdiction such as Guernsey will be essential.
Strong leadership and communications skills will required for this role which has multiple facets.
