We are looking for an Optometrist to join us in our Doncaster store on a 9-month fixed-term basis.
This position is 30 hours a week, with alternative weekends, providing a flexible work-life balance.
The team is supported by 4 DOs and 2 resident Optometrists, collectively with over 40 years of experience in Doncaster.
The store was awarded 'Store of the Year' in 2023 and has a supportive and established team.
The store is equipped with OCT, Phoropter, and Optomap technologies.

Your main responsibilities will include:
* Leading clinics and providing specialist care and advice to all patients.
* Using the latest technology to test eyes while maintaining excellent patient care.
* Delivering enhanced services based on store needs.
* Responding to emergency triages.
* Collaborating with external healthcare professionals.
* Providing clinical support to team members on the shop floor.
* Offering advice to patients using your clinical knowledge.
* Staying updated with the latest clinical practices.
* Working closely with senior stakeholders.
What you’ll need to have
The essential skills and experience include:
* GOC registration (or expecting to be registered within 6 months).
* Additional registration with the relevant NHS body.
* A drive to deliver excellent patient care.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
