We are currently recruiting for a Calibration Engineer responsible for all aspects of electrical instrument calibration to national standards. The role involves liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure first-class service.

Maintaining high standards ensures products meet specifications, comply with industry standards, and reduces costs associated with rework and recalls. The Calibration Engineer plays a vital role in upholding these standards.
Main responsibilities include:
* Implementing mandatory and legislative QH&S / HS&E aspects of work, and providing safety and general knowledge training to relevant staff
* Controlling and managing company assets to meet production requirements and ensure audit compliance
* Managing calibration requirements for all monitoring and measuring instrumentation to UKAS standards
* Maintaining calibration database and records, including data entry, documentation, and filing
* Ensuring calibration certifications and files are up to date
* Assisting in developing and improving inspection and calibration procedures
* Ensuring customer satisfaction and timely turnaround of equipment and services
* Supporting Product Quality Engineers as needed
* Supporting RMA and FAI processes
* Participating in internal and external audits as required by the Quality Manager
* Participating in interlaboratory measurement audits
Requirements for this role:
* Strong experience in calibration
* Desirable: PCB assembly and inspection experience
* Understanding of international standards
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages
* General understanding of Quality functions
