Girling Jones are delighted to be working with this civil engineering contractor to help procure aHealth & Safety Advisorfor their team in Plymouth.
Projects range in value from £100k – £5m in value and they specialise in working across all areas of groundworks and civil engineering for a repeat client base
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, you’ll be based on site, 5 days a week, initially on a new build housing development. This role could suit an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor who is looking to take their career into more of a H & S direction……someone keen and willing to learn
Day to Day Duties will include:
* Carry out risk assessments and method statements
* Carry out regular site inspections
* Record incidents and accidents
* Delivering PPE
What do you need?
* 2 years experience within civil engineering, ideally in a H & S capacity, but not essential
* SMSTS or CSCS
* NEBOSH (preferred, not essential)
