The Abbey School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Humanities Lead to join the Humanities Department, to start from January 2026.
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Humanities Lead to drive excellence across History, Religious Education and Politics. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a passionate team, develop an engaging curriculum, and ensure outstanding outcomes for all students.
This is a full time, permanent role. Paid on the STPC Main Teachers PayScale/Upper Teachers PayScale, dependant on experience, with a TLR2A allowance of £7,368.
The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5,000 which is split into the following payments - £2,500 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2,500 to be paid upon one year service.
