Senior Associate – Private Wealth Disputes
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 • Location: South East (Hybrid working available)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a highly regarded, top-tier law firm (recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers) within its specialist Private Wealth Disputes team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-value and often high-profile contentious private client matters, advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees and beneficiaries within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will handle a broad range of private wealth disputes, including:
* Contentious probate and estate disputes
* Inheritance Act claims
* Trust disputes and administration issues
* Court of Protection-related matters
* Challenges to wills and issues of capacity
You will manage your own caseload while also supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work and sophisticated clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of complex contentious private client matters
* Providing clear, strategic and sensitive advice to clients
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supporting business development and networking initiatives
* Collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with relevant experience (typically 5+ PQE)
* Experience in private wealth disputes, contentious probate or similar litigation
* Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail
* A commercial and empathetic approach to client service
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
