We have a rare opportunity with an independent Vintage Car Restoration company that is looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Engine Builder / Classic Vehicle Technician to join their team.
This is a unique opportunity to work in excellent facilities, where you will be responsible for the stripping back and rebuilding of complete engines on vintage vehicles, as well as related tasks.
You should be able to read complex engineering drawings with a good understanding. Your work will involve classic petrol engines, particularly distributor type ignition systems and carburettor fuel systems. You will also be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues during the restoration of Vintage Motor Vehicles.
For this Classic Vehicle Technician/Engine Builder role:
* You must have great attention to detail, with good knowledge of quality standards and excellent workmanship.
* You should be proactive, with a can-do attitude, able to work well with a team of technicians, and also use your own initiative.
* You need to be time-efficient, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* You will be responsible for completing appropriate paperwork and ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.
