You’ll work closely with intermediaries, manage a meaningful pipeline, and operate in a business that values judgement, documentation quality, and regulatory discipline over volume. Package & Benefits • Salary is negotiable, depending on experience. About the Company The business is an established specialist lender with over 15 years’ experience in property finance. It operates across bridging and development lending and is launching a new product team, creating opportunities for senior underwriters to influence proposition delivery and underwriting approach. Key Responsibilities • Underwrite and approve 1st and 2nd charge residential and buy to let mortgage applications in line with specialist criteria. • Exercise and maintain a higher lending mandate, producing clear, well evidenced lending decisions in line with regulatory requirements. • Support the Underwriting Manager through case escalation handling, colleague development, and contribution to process improvement. About You • Minimum of 4 years’ underwriting experience across residential and or buy to let within a specialist lending environment. • Proven experience operating with senior mandate authority in a regulated FCA environment. • Strong background managing complex pipelines and intermediary led mortgage business.
