Multi-Trader role based in a Southampton depot, covering repairs and maintenance to social housing in Hampshire, West Sussex and East Dorset. Long term temp to perm role with van and fuel supplied.
Working for ITS Property Maintenance, a maintenance contractor focused on repairs for social housing and partnered with Housing Associations.
£20 - £24 per hour. Working hours are 8am – 5pm. Company van supplied. Long term opportunity with progression to permanent.

* Role focused on day-to-day occupied repairs and maintenance of social housing properties for a Housing Association contract
* You must have a full UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be supplied

Responsibilities
* Carry out a core skilled trade of carpentry and undertake a range of multi-trade duties including:
* Like-for-like plumbing repairs
* Tiling (mainly splashbacks)
* Painting and decorating
* UPVC glazing and door repairs
* Patch plastering
* General property maintenance
* Work in occupied residential properties and ideally in a social housing setting
* Deliver excellent customer service and support residents with reactive repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of properties
* Work on a job-to-job basis over a planned route with a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks
* Collaborate with schedulers and planners to meet contract SLAs in a timely manner
* Advise your supervisor on issues requiring additional support
* Work independently or in a team when other trades are required to complete a repair
* Complete daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used
* Maintain a timely and productive work pace
Requirements
* Strong carpentry background with the ability to carry out multi-trade works
* NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, or time-served equivalent
* Your own 110v power tools and hand tools
* Basic IT skills for using a PDA
* SOR codes knowledge is desirable
* Extensive knowledge of maintenance repair works
* Ability to manage and carry out booked repairs in a dispersed region
* Previous experience of social housing repairs, voids, or planned works
* Adhere to company health and safety guidelines
* Collaborate with a range of stakeholders
* Strong customer service skills due to repairs taking place in occupied properties
* Tidy work ethic; keep adjoining work areas clean and damage-free
