The Head of Strategic Planning and Partnerships is a key leadership post within the organisation, driving the delivery of the Trust's strategic and operational plans to support the delivery of high-quality, sustainable mental health services.
The Head of Strategic Planning and Partnerships will support the Associate Director of Performance and Strategic Development, in delivering the following key functions:
* Strategy development and delivery – responsible for developing, coordinating and driving delivery of the Trust's strategic plans, including our Strategy, Enabling Strategies and medium-term plans.
* Planning – leading the development and delivery of an integrated annual planning process, aligned to delivery of our strategic and medium-term plans, system and national priorities. The postholder will lead the process internally and represent GMMH in system planning forums.
* Partnerships – working with system partners, including statutory and Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) partners, commissioners and other key stakeholders to strengthen system collaboration, ensure the Trust is positioned to influence and respond to national and local priorities and develop plans with partners for delivery of services.
Main duties of the job

Job responsibilities
* Pay Enhancements 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.

Shortlisting
* Experience of working with executive leadership / Board of Directors and developing strategic priorities within an organisation.
* Proven experience of leading a planning process across a complex organisation, including development, coordination and monitoring of business plans.
* Strong track record of internal & external partnership working including development of effective relationships that have delivered system change.
* Highly developed and effective communication skills, able to meet the needs of a wide range of different stakeholders in both verbal and written formats.
* Experience of working with service commissioners.
* Experience of working with governors and service user groups.
* Understanding of current mental health services, configurations and challenges.
