Residential Support Worker Childrens Home (EBD) MUST HOLD A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCELocation: Godstone, SurreyBase Salary: £27,000 £29,000 per annum Total Earnings (with sleep-ins): £33,000 £35,000 per annum Sleep-in rate: £55 per sleep Hours: 40 hours per week (rota-based, mixed shifts including sleep-ins) Contract: Full-timeWe are recruiting for an experienced Residential Support Worker to join a 5-bed EBD childrens home registered with Ofsted. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and committed to delivering high-quality, therapeutic care.You will support children aged 818 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Support the development and delivery of individual care plansBuild positive, trusting relationships with young peopleEngage children in activities that promote social and emotional developmentProvide day-to-day care while ensuring safeguarding at all timesWork collaboratively with families and external professionalsMaintain accurate records and report any concerns promptlyParticipate in daily routines, including sleep-ins and community activitiesRequirements:Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Social Care (essential)At least 2 years experience in a childrens residential home (EBD)Full UK driving licenceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly, including weekends, mixed shifts, and sleep-insMust have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)Whats on Offer:28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Casual dressCompany pensionOn-site parkingBank holidays paid at time and a halfOvertime paid at time and a quarterThis role is ideal for someone who is dedicated, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.TPBN1_UKTJ
