Link3 Recruitment are seeking a talented and dedicated Humanities Teacher, with a specialism in Geography, History, or Religious Studies, to join one of our fantastic secondary schools located in the NG19 area of Nottingham.
This is a full-time, Temp to Perm position, offering the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
About the Role
We’re looking for an engaging and dynamic Humanities Teacher to deliver creative and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative and forward-thinking Humanities department, within a school committed to academic excellence and the personal development of every student.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality lessons in Geography, History, and/or Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4.
* Inspire students to think critically, explore diverse perspectives, and make connections between past, present, and future.
* Encourage curiosity about global issues, cultures, and beliefs through engaging and inclusive teaching.
* Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities, using creative and interactive approaches.
* Contribute to the development of exciting schemes of work and cross-curricular projects.
* Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment in line with school safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Humanities subjects (Geography, History, or Religious Studies) at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the Humanities.
* A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
* A genuine passion for helping young people develop curiosity, empathy, and understanding of the wider world.
Safeguarding & Compliance:
All applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, which will be verified as part of our safeguarding and compliance checks.
An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) is required prior to starting work unless already registered on the Update Service (the cost of a new DBS will be covered by the applicant).
