Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance Officer to take ownership of company-wide compliance, certification, and accreditation requirements. This role is critical to ensuring our operations remain fully compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with client and industry standards.
The successful candidate will manage existing compliance systems while actively driving improvements and securing new accreditations to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and maintaining company compliance policies and procedures
* Overseeing Health & Safety compliance (H&S)
* Monitoring and coordinating training & qualifications
* Ensuring insurance documentation remains valid and up to date
* Managing toolbox talks and compliance records
* Maintaining and developing company accreditations
* Preparing, updating, and managing site packs
* Ensuring documentation meets client and contractual requirements
* Supporting operational teams with compliance-related matters
* Maintaining audit-ready records and evidence
* Managing PPE / ordering
Accreditations & Development
* Managing existing industry accreditations
* Identifying gaps and compliance risks
* Leading applications for new accreditations
* Maintaining accreditation standards and renewals
* Liaising with accreditation bodies and auditors
* Driving continuous compliance improvements
Training & Competency Management
* Tracking staff certifications and expiry dates
* Coordinating required training programmes
* Ensuring workforce competency compliance
* Supporting onboarding compliance requirements
Requirements
* Previous experience in a compliance, H&S, or regulatory role
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage documentation and deadlines
* Confident communicator across departments
* Experience with accreditation schemes (preferred)
* Proactive, structured, and self-managed approach

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
