DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking an IT Delivery Lead. You will be supporting the IT Leads for the Aviation and Travel (A&T) Business unit as required in one-off initiatives and projects. Ensuring budget support to new products and projects and act as the IT Product owner, developing strategy product roadmaps and setting specifications and requirements. As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for: Supporting and implementing products not in central IT product catalogue and therefore a hands-on approach at a very detailed level will be part of the role. Driving self-sufficiency and reducing A&T's reliance on the central PIPD teams for smaller projects and ongoing changes Responsible for supporting IT Leads across A&T in continuous improvement initiatives and projects. IT project management including planning project timelines, developing project plans, and ensuring governance and compliance. IT budget support including forecasting IT spend for budget cycles in the year/s ahead including costing any initiatives planned against the road map. Input into Business Development responses (tenders, RFQ etc) including IT product cost modelling, product identification and supplier engagement. Ensuring governance and compliance of all our Suppliers via the Supplier management portal. Managing a small team of IT Specialists focused on achieving A&Ts BU IT Self-Sufficiency aims. Ensure that DHL IT Strategy and Governance is adhered to. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Logistics or supply chain Industry experience is essential. IT experience in a similar role in a large complex organisation. Demonstrable product and supplier management experience is essential. Strong project management and implementation experience including excellent organisational and planning skills. Strong business and commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and cost modelling. Strong relationship management skills and good business cultural awareness. Excellent communication skills with excellent negotiating skills. Results orientated, self-motivated - passion & natural drive for continuous improvement.
