ABOUT THE ROLE
Your main responsibility as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care. You will help create a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and updating records accordingly.
* Participating in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where needed.
* Serving as a key contact point for residents, their families, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring that reasonable requests are addressed and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.
ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate must:
* Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
