Our client is looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations, from ledger management and payroll support to credit control and reporting. Key Responsibilities of Finance Assistant: Raise sales invoices accurately and promptly, while managing billing enquiries professionally. Assist payroll colleagues in processing weekly payroll across all departments. Maintain purchase ledger records, ensuring all financial processing is accurate and timely. Assess customer credit applications, monitor payments, and follow up on overdue invoices. Produce and develop weekly and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders. Assist in the preparation and analysis of management accounts when required. Essential: Confident with IT systems, including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases. Strong administrative skills and experience in maintaining detailed records. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines. Desirable: Previous finance administration experience. Familiarity with Pegasus Opera 3 (Payroll and Accounts). Experience producing financial documentation using IT systems.
