Lead Payroll Specialist, you will handle a variety of payroll tasks daily and manage the mobilisation and testing process for setting up payroll systems, aligning with our growth strategy. Key responsibilities include: Processing end-to-end payroll for weekly and monthly paid employees Producing earnings analysis for approval Managing attachment of earnings orders Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes during mobilisation Mitigating risks related to payroll mobilisation, such as data security and compliance Collaborating with HR, finance, and IT stakeholders for smooth mobilisation Managing employee benefits deductions Updating and submitting PAYE reports to HMRC monthly Handling ad hoc payroll queries The Person:
Proven experience in payroll, legislation, tax, and PAYE procedures Experience in payroll mobilisation and risk management Managing end-to-end mobilisation and system integration Knowledge of test tools and methodologies CIPP qualification or equivalent (desirable) Strong analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and Navision/Miracle Pay software is advantageous Additional benefits include: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Company-matched pension scheme Income protection, life assurance, accident insurance Healthcare plan and access to MyHealth Eye test vouchers, annual pay review, legal support Discounts with high street partners, profit sharing, employee energy allowance Why apply?
