Responsibilities
* Lead the corporate team in M&A transactions and related restructuring work, typically for deals valued between £3,000,000 and £30,000,000, with involvement in larger deals led by a partner or senior lawyer.
* Support a broad range of specialisms including private equity and venture capital, banking, corporate restructuring and insolvency, and company secretarial/governance to ensure a broad work mix and strong client network.
* Develop and maintain client relationships and leverage the team’s professional network to generate work, with referrals contributing to business growth.
* Contribute to the team culture aligned with the firm values: Fair, Supportive and Participative, with merit-based promotions and clear career progression.
Qualifications & Skills
* Corporate Solicitor with 8+ years PQE; consideration of partner track.
* Experience in handling mid-to-large scale M&A and restructuring projects; ability to lead and collaborate with junior and senior lawyers.
* Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.
