NHP Project Lead
An exciting opportunity has become available to work within National House Project Team in Cheshire East. The position is for 1.0 FTE (37) per week over a Monday to Friday working pattern.
About You
You will lead the design, development, and delivery of a Local House Project, working intensively with children in care and care leavers to support them in preparing for independence and securing long‑term, sustainable tenancies. You will provide strong leadership and direction to a specialist team, ensuring high‑quality, safe, and youth‑centred practice at all times.
You will work collaboratively with young people, partners, and stakeholders to embed co‑production at every level of the project, enabling young people to shape decisions that affect their lives. You will build and maintain effective multi‑agency relationships, particularly with social care, housing providers, and the National House Project, to ensure joined‑up and sustainable support.
As part of the role, you will oversee day‑to‑day delivery, performance monitoring, and quality assurance of the project. This includes managing risk, ensuring robust information and reporting systems, and facilitating reflective supervision and case formulation alongside the project psychologist.

3. The ability to converse at ease with young people, staff, and partner agencies;
4. A flexible and solution‑focused approach to work;
5. Experience of multi‑agency working and managing complex projects or services.
