Applicants must be able to undertake legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 on domestic hot and cold systems and will need to produce thorough reports to accompany site visits. Experience / Qualifications: - Must hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing (the 1 or 3 day course are both acceptable) - Will have a successful record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor within a well-established outfit - Well-versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines - Strong literacy and numeracy skills - Proficient in the use of IT software to complete reports - Hardworking attitude The Role: - Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems - Travelling across a variety of commercial, public sector and local authority client sites - Completing site-specific risk assessments to highlight compliance risks - Producing detailed schematic drawings - Meeting with clients to make technical recommendations and answer any queries they might have - Completing ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring - Representing the company in a professional manner - Maintaining excellent customer service levels - Working to agreed personal targets Alternative job titles: Legionella Consultant, Water Hygiene Consultant, Water Hygiene Risk Assessor, Environmental Consultant.
