Telephone Assistant – Birmingham Office
We are a renowned multiservice law firm committed to access to justice. Our lawyers specialise in criminal defence, family law, housing, civil liberties and human rights. We are a Legal 500 and Chambers UK recommended firm who are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join our Birmingham Office.
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 5.00pm. The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic and growing hub serving all our offices and they will be responsible providing exceptional service to our clients.
Requirements of the role:
* Take inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered promptly and to meet set KPIs
* Answer all inbound calls from prospective and existing clients in a professional manner
* Screen telephone calls, taking relevant and accurate messages
* Liaise with other departments
* Report technical issues impacting service to the IT team
* Assist the wider support teams and carrying out general administrative duties when required
* This is an office-based role
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Polite and professional telephone manner
* Ability to cope with tight deadlines, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Proven experience in an administration role
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Able to work on own initiative and also as part of a wider team
* Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
