We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team based in Surrey.
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational delivery in support of EMED goals, with a clear focus on performance delivery and clinical quality of all frontline patient transport services. Ensuring all quality and governance requirements meet objectives and performance targets.
The role is fundamental to delivering exceptional service. It involves providing inspired leadership, developing and guiding the team, and improving performance through strategic decision-making.

Other duties include:
* Business performance and service delivery – Deliver excellent customer service while maximizing revenue opportunities to protect P&L.
* KPIs – Manage and embed Key Performance Indicators to support effective daily service delivery, balancing contractual targets with operational realities.
* Relationship Management – Develop strong relationships with stakeholders from Clinical Commissioning Groups, hospitals, mental health partnerships, and primary care.
* Clinical Quality and Governance – Monitor and ensure compliance with governance, quality, and national standards, maintaining continuous operational excellence.
* Budgets – Collaborate with the Head of Service Delivery to maximize revenue, manage costs, and identify additional revenue opportunities.
* People Management – Take full accountability for employee safety, performance, and development, ensuring adherence to HR policies.
To be considered as an Operations Manager, you will need:
* At least two years’ experience in a front-line management role, with a record of delivering improvements or organizational change that positively impacted your team or service.
* KPI-driven with a passion for target achievement.
* Experience in developing successful strategies, both short and long-term.
* Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with staff, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience managing Employee Relations issues per policies and procedures.
* Highly organized with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
* Experience using data analysis to improve operational processes.
