Part-time HR Adviser — Position Overview:
You will support the firm’s HR and recruitment functions, working closely with partners and staff across departments. This role requires a highly organised professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and building strong working relationships across the firm.
Key Responsibilities of the Part-time HR Adviser:
• Coordinating recruitment activity with external recruitment agencies
• Supporting interview processes including scheduling and feedback collation
• Preparing offer documentation and supporting recruitment approvals
• Managing offboarding processes and ensuring compliance with procedures
• Tracking probation periods and preparing review documentation
• Responding to day-to-day HR queries from staff
• Monitoring training records and mandatory compliance requirements
• Coordinating appraisal processes and performance review administration
• Monitoring and tracking annual leave and absence records
• Providing administrative support on HR projects and initiatives
Requirements of the Part-time HR Adviser:
• Previous HR or administrative experience (law firm experience desirable)
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional discretion when handling confidential information
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
