Job Title: Junior Bankers Assistant

Contract: 6 months (with potential to extend or convert to permanent)
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with flexibility for overtime)
About the Role
A prestigious global financial services firm is seeking a proactive and organized Junior Bankers Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to over 25 Junior Bankers at Analyst, Associate, and Junior VP levels. This fast-paced and demanding role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in customer service or administration. French or German language skills are a plus. Full in-house and remote training, along with ongoing support from the Team Supervisor, will be provided.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in managing high workloads, with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diary and calendar management for junior bankers (Associate level and above)
2. Scheduling meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
3. Handling a high volume of calls and emails, ensuring timely and accurate communication
4. Booking rooms for internal/external meetings and video conferences across various locations
5. Coordinating travel arrangements, including visa applications, flights, accommodation bookings, and car services
6. Managing expenses and invoices for the team
7. Supporting day-to-day administrative tasks and handling ad-hoc requests
8. Providing coverage for colleagues' phone and holiday responsibilities
Required Skills
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
2. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks under tight deadlines
3. Strong communication skills, both in person and via phone, email, and Zoom
4. Comfort in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
5. Team player with adaptability to a fast-changing environment
6. Proactive approach to diary management and problem-solving
7. Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters
8. Friendly, approachable, and willing to assist where needed
