The Opportunity
-Are you an experienced Stores Person / Warehouse Operative, ideally who also has a Forklift Truck licence?
-Do you have a passion for and/or have worked previously in the Motorcycle industry, or perhaps your skills as a Stores Operative have been honed working more wholly in the wider Automotive manufacturing industry or similar to date?

Our Client is one of the most iconic and well-known leading Motorcycle manufacturers in the World. Creating modern classics and with a healthy order book, it is our privilege to now be supporting them with the recruitment of an experienced Stores Person on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Team Manager, as their Stores Person, you will provide support to the Workshop Department through carrying out general storage duties. This includes responsibilities such as; coordinating goods- in and out, stock control and the archiving of parts. This role supports the Workshop Department in being able to function effectively and efficiently.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:
General storage duties, managing and maintaining store logistics in an organised and efficient manner.
Raise PR/PO’/GRN using SAP.
Track and analyse parts stock levels.
Support Chassis and Engine builds through the managing and coordination of parts associated with related development projects.
Operating a forklift truck to move parts in and out of storage and racking.
Monitor and manage goods-in and goods-out, liaising and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and handling any associated administration, i.e. delivery notes and invoices as documented in internal processes.
Unpacking of Parts & Motorcycles.
Driving a pool car/van to deliver and collect from suppliers.You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Should ideally be qualified with a good general education (GCSE English and Maths grade C or equivalent), although plenty of relevant experience will also be considered.
Should be an experienced Stores Person / Warehouse Operative, who ideally has also previously worked in the Motorcycle or Automotive manufacturing sectors, or perhaps a similar aligned industry.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Active team player, who shares information with colleagues and internal customers via team meetings, databases, filing systems, etc.
You will have a full, valid UK driving licence.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
Should be customer and quality focused as well as being confident, tactful, diplomatic, and enthusiastic.
You will have the ability to maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.It’s great if you also have the following:
You will ideally have a Forklift Truck Licence and/or experience driving a van or larger vehicles.
Computer literate - competent in using Google App Suite, including Google Sheets is highly beneficial.
An interest in/knowledge of Motorcycles is nice to have.This position is available with immediate effect.
