About The Role
To lead a team of Commercial Analysts and deliver excellence in data and analytics for the Sourcing and Supply functions within the Commercial Department at AAH.
They will play a critical role working in close collaboration with Sourcing, Supply, and the Pricing departments, to leverage data and market intelligence, to make optimal sourcing decisions, and improve the buying effectiveness. The role holder will be pivotal within the Commercial function, by providing expert support on projects, partnering with Heads of Department across four categories (Generics, Brand, PI, and OTC) on tactical growth initiatives and clearly articulating performance to SLT members.
Accountabilities
* Create a high performing analytics team, ensuring the right skills are in place, and establish a culture of best practice, development, and innovation
* Create a governance structure within the Commercial team, by actively managing the margin, challenge areas of underperformance and proactively provide business insight for growth
* Improve the buying efficiency through designing and implementing a rules-based approach to cost challenges, through leveraging data and insights
* Improve the commercial performance through improved insights on stock availability, via combining additional data sources and market intelligence, ensuring Supply, Sourcing and Pricing are joined up on commercial decisions.
* Develop models for accurate demand forecasting for all order methods, such as Portal activity and Bulk orders.
* Adopt technologies such as SQL, Alteryx, and Power BI to automate reporting and actively provide recommendations on stock management and product sourcing.

About You
* · A degree or a professional certification in a related subject e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data & Analytics
* · Previous experience within a Finance, Commercial or Data & Analytics role
* · Previous experience leading and managing a team
* · Confident leader and can inspire and motivate a team of analysts
* · Excellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency in data visualisation software such as Tableau/PowerBI
* · Strong commercial acumen and financial skills
* · Great English verbal and written communication skills
* · An excellent communicator, you will be the catalyst for data driven decisions and be able to explain complicated terminology in simple terms
