An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of our Housing Standards Team who support residents to remain independent in their homes. In this varied role you will work directly with people helping them to stay in safe, warm and healthy homes.
The role will involve being the first point of contact for all enquiries, arranging and attending meetings, taking and circulating minutes, conducting financial assessments of applicants, providing programme support for various initiatives and schemes, organising casework, completing administration for officers, and making funeral arrangements for public burials.
About You
We are looking for someone highly organised, accurate and resourceful who is able to work responsibly and meet strict deadlines. You will have demonstrable experience of working within a busy administration and customer focussed environment, ideally with experience of project administration including event management (i.e. venue bookings, invites etc). You will be able to communicate in a professional manner on a variety of enquiries, and deal with contentious issues where appropriate. Experience of working with vulnerable individuals and communicating with external agencies would be an advantage.
