We're looking for someone with excellent pastry and baking skills to join our dedicated production team at Peck and Strong, a well-established bakery known for its handmade cakes, flapjacks, shortbreads, and vegetarian flans and pies — all made authentically and supplied nationwide.
About the Role:
This is a rare opportunity to work in a creative, hands-on baking environment where quality comes first. You'll need:
* A real flair for baking and attention to detail
* Ability to work at pace while maintaining high standards
* Experience in large-scale catering, food production, or contract catering
* Physical stamina for a fast-paced, manual role
* A team-oriented, positive attitude
* Good numeracy and the ability to follow recipes precisely
We bake by hand, using minimal machinery and no shortcuts — so you'll need a passion for authentic, quality-led baking.
