Technical Manager
Rickmansworth, Herts and travel to local sites
c£65,000 - £75,000
A great role joining award winning new homes building contractor. They are recruiting a Technical Manager to be responsible for carrying out a range of duties between 4-5 projects at any one time, including Private and Social Housing.
Responsibilities include:
* Appointing external consultants
* Resolving technical issues arising from the sites
* Management the appointment process and documents, including PI insurance and Collateral Warranties
* Checking working drawing packages
* Completing the registration process with the NHBC
* Obtaining design drawings from suppliers and obtaining consultant approval
* Appointing and checking landscape architects
* Checking structural engineers drawings in relation to the architects drawings
* Attending site meetings
* Obtaining ground investigations and remediation reports
* Completing and monitoring F10 notifications
* Obtaining Buildmark Choice Insurances for Housing Association units
* Discharging and liaising with Planning Authorities
* Liaising with Services consultants, Party Wall surveyors and Highway authorities
You will likely have Design and Engineering Construction, Technical and building construction knowledge. Understanding of legislation, regulations, & Health and Safety and CDM Regulations.
