Were looking for an organised and proactive Transport Planner to join our clients fast-paced logistics operation in Newark. This is a key role where youll ensure drivers, vehicles, and routes are planned efficiently to keep daily operations running smoothly.
What hours will I be working?
You will be working office hours of 08:00 17:00 each day. There is a choice of two shift patterns (these do not rotate) either Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday which is.
How much will I be paid?
You will be paid £15:00ph
What will I be expected to do?
* Create and manage daily and weekly driver and vehicle plans
* Allocate drivers, vehicles, and routes to meet operational demands
* Manage rotas, holidays, and last-minute changes
* Monitor live operations and resolve issues quickly and effectively
* Ensure full compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD) and driver hours
* Maintain accurate data and reports using TMS and Excel
What skills and experience will I require?
1. Previous experience in transport planning or logistics coordination
