Overview
Lead Pricing Analyst role at Admiral Money. We are looking for a Lead Pricing Analyst to join our team at Admiral Money. The Lead Retail Analyst will shape and deliver pricing strategies that drive commercial performance. You will lead a team responsible for analytical workstreams, ensure pricing decisions are aligned with business strategy and constraints. You will also be managing analysts and driving continuous improvement and innovation across tools and processes within retail pricing.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the optimisation of pricing strategies to support business objectives and maximise utilisation of commercial constraints.
* Prioritise and review enhancements to simulation and pricing tools, ensuring they meet performance and documentation standards.
* Monitor pricing performance and commercial KPIs, identifying trends and recommending strategic adjustments.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across Credit, Risk, Finance, and Product to ensure pricing strategies are cohesive and well-executed.
* Manage and support analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Experience
* Substantial experience in pricing analytics, commercial strategy, or financial modelling within financial services.
* Proven ability to lead analytical projects and influence pricing decisions.
* Strong technical expertise in profitability modelling, pricing optimisation, and data analysis.
Key Competencies
* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Git. Strong experience with pricing and profitability modelling tools. Ability to evaluate technical solutions for business impact and feasibility.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving: Lead investigations across multiple data sources. Apply advanced modelling techniques. Translate complex insights into actionable pricing strategies. Critically assess data quality and model performance.
* Leadership & People Management: Manage and motivate analysts. Provide coaching and development plans. Champion best practices in analytics and foster a collaborative team environment.
* Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Translate high-level commercial strategies into operational pricing plans. Monitor internal and external data to inform strategic pivots. Communicate strategic rationale to stakeholders.
* Delivery of Strong Results: Lead proposal development for cross-functional initiatives. Align refinements with business goals and ROI targets. Track project performance and adapt plans as needed.
* Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Sponsor improvement programs. Prioritise enhancements to simulation tools and MI. Ensure documentation and performance standards are met. Promote a culture of innovation and learning.
