Intervention Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

£600 - £1,308.90 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
May 2026 – July 2026
The School and Role
A Primary School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to employ an interventions teacher from May 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, offering small group and 1:1 interventions, predominantly focusing on Mathematics and English. The school would preferably like an experienced teacher for this role, with prior experience of offering differentiated learning and supporting pupils with SEND. This role will be continuing until the end of the academic year.
Requirements
The desired Teacher will have:
1. Experience of teaching across KS1-KS2.
2. An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
4. The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
5. An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
