Job Description Sous Chef – Nursing Home You will support the Head Chef in preparing and cooking meals for older adults, including residents with specialist dietary needs. The role is hands-on, covering meal preparation, portioning, and ensuring food is safe, nutritious, and meets individual care plans. You’ll work closely with care and kitchen staff to make sure residents’ meals are delivered consistently to a high standard. Before You Apply This role requires recent experience as a Sous Chef in a care home or similar healthcare setting. You must have strong working knowledge of allergies, specialist diets, nutrition and hydration. This position is not suitable for chefs without care sector experience.
