About the role
In this position, you will work as part of the Customer Service team and you will be responsible for receiving, logging and responding to all customer calls, dealing with enquiries, and issues.
Main Responsibilities
8. Ensuring an appropriate resolution in an effective, efficient manner, within the agreed timeframe and to the required standard
9. Offering full customer service support to both caterers and retailers
10. Logging all queries and issues, ensuring all calls are dealt with efficiently and effectively
11. Communicating clearly to customers, showing empathy and working to build a trusting relationship
12. Handling all types of customer and consumer queries via telephone (inbound and outbound), letters, and emails as required.
13. Taking responsibility and ownership for issues, queries and their resolution, ensuring service and standards are met
14. Resolving queries where possible or if necessary, escalate issues to appropriate departments
15. Escalating issues to the CST Manager, if appropriate action is not taken.
You will need
16. To be successful in this role your skills and qualifications will include;
17. Previous experience within a contact or call centre environment would be highly regarded but not essential and full training will be provided.
18. Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
19. Ability to plan, prioritise and approach each issue in a structured manner
20. Ability to take ownership of problems through resolutions.
