Job Title: Crane Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £55,000
Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Permanent + OT (plenty)

Seeking an experienced Crane Engineer to join our technical service team delivering maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and breakdown support for cranes and lifting equipment.
You’ll work on a mix of overhead cranes, crawler cranes, hoists and other lifting systems, ensuring safety, reliability and customer satisfaction
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs on crane systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults to restoration standard.
Perform statutory inspections and duties in accordance with LOLER/PUWER regulations.
Complete service reports, documentation and compliance paperwork.
Attend client sites.
Represent the company professionally on site and maintain high safety standards.
What You’ll Need!
Proven experience as a crane engineer, field service engineer, mobile engineer or similar.
Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills.
Relevant engineering qualifications — e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
Good understanding of statutory requirements, safety standards and industry best practice.What you will get!
