Why Bloom ?

Why not Bloom ?

Bloom Childcare is looking for the best early years talent to join our team. We aim to attract the best by being strategically located so that each setting is accessible to all potential applicants. We carry out a rigorous recruitment process, we offer you a chance to demonstrate your skills through a trial session working with the team and the children and if this goes well then you will be offered an interview. If you successfully complete all stages of the process an offer of employment may be given subject to references. You will be given a clear job description that lays out clear aims and objectives, roles and responsibilities.

Another way that we attract the best talent is by offering highly competitive salaries and additional benefits. We currently pay £12.72 an hour to Level 3 qualified staff aged 21+. Your annual leave will also increase as you become one of our long serving staff members. These increases happen after 5, 10, 15 and 20 years and we also provide highly discounted childcare if your child attends one of our settings. In addition, you will also own shares in the company and be eligible for a profit share each Christmas. As well as paying you a wage that you deserve, at Bloom we believe in providing opportunities for career progression within the company. Today's practitioners can be tomorrow's managers.

Once you start your employment we offer a robust induction programme over 8 weeks. This enables us to identify any training needs you may have or gaps in your experience so that we can signpost you to appropriate courses/support immediately. Rest assured you will be supported by a strong and inspiring leadership team who have a clear vision. This is made up of Room Leaders, Deputy Managers, Managers and Area Managers.

At Bloom we believe that the retention of the staff that we value is even more important than being able to recruit them in the first place. We aim to be a company where staff feel truly valued, have opportunities to progress, are paid well and receive additional benefits in return for what they do and are managed by supportive leaders and therefore they never want to leave.

If you are a go getter, if you care about providing the best care and learning opportunities for young children, if you're ambitious and want to work for a company where staff matter then Bloom is the company for you.

We're on a mission to change the future for children, families, and the people we work with, and are committed to progressive working values like flexibility, work-life balance, and wellbeing. We offer competitive salaries and with great incentives like discounted childcare and extended holiday entitlements for long serving staff.
