Qualifications:
Position Responsibilities
1. Work within the Boeing EASA proposal team reviewing Customer requests for proposals (RFPs)
2. Work with stakeholders to establish a ‘bid’ or ‘no bid’ decision for proposals based on capability, capacity and business strategy
3. Assist Customers and/or Sales in developing modification requirements using Study LOPA’s and other data as required (training will be provided)
4. Research and develop modification statements of work and bills of materials using Boeing systems and customer data
5. Identify key risks and mitigation strategies
6. Establish assumptions and limitations based on proposal scope and information available
7. Work with departments/specialists to collate/confirm task hours
8. Collate all information into the proposal cost sheet and obtain sign off
9. Support tracking of active RFP’s
10. Support handover meetings to Program Management and Customer Kick-off meetings (when needed) to ensure work scope and budgets are clearly communicated
11. Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required
Required Knowledge/Experience
12. Minimum 5-years aviation/aerospace (or related) industry experience
13. Knowledge of EASA CS25 requirements applicable to aircraft interiors is highly desirable
14. Knowledge of commercial aircraft interiors is highly desirable
15. Some experience working within an EASA Part 21J design organisation would be beneficial
16. Some experience with CAD is desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
Education Requirements
17. A recognized aeronautical or engineering degree, however other internationally recognized aeronautical qualifications will be considered based on technical knowledge and experience
18. Must be fluent in English both written and spoken
