About the Role
RMC Mechanical and Electrical Services are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipework Installation Engineer to join our growing team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing a wide range of industrial and commercial pipework systems to the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate would have experience in working with and installing commercial hot & cold water, heating and gas systems in a range of environments including educational settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of industrial and commercial pipework systems (steel, copper, plastic, etc.)
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
* Testing pipework systems for integrity and compliance
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and company procedures
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
* Working across Wolverhampton and nearby regions as required
Requirements
* Proven experience as a pipework installation engineer (minimum 5 years preferred)
* Competency in a range of pipework materials and installation methods
* Strong understanding of industry standards and health & safety regulations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
