SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Northamptonshire
Contract: Part time / full time - flexible shift available
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in Northampton. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a real difference to children with special educational needs.
The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
* Support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to engage with learning
* Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children with SEN (school-based or other relevant settings)
* Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Has strong communication and teamwork skills
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Holds relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
