We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Senior to join our busy team based in Peterborough. As a Senior Credit Controller you will support and lead the credit control team to reduce aged debt, protect cash flow and strengthen the end to end debt management process for Mencap.The roleis responsible formonitoringoverdue accounts, drivingtimelyfollow-up,agreeingand tracking payment commitments and escalating non-payment appropriately. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Standard working hours are 9am to 5pm, though we are happy to offer flexibility where needed. While this is an office-based role in Peterborough, we understand that work is something you do, not just a place you go. Thats why we offer our office-based colleagues greater flexibility in how and where work is carried out. Were looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, who can manage multiple priorities quickly and accurately. Youll be confident using IT systems and have excellent communication skills. Do you have the skills to be our Credit Control Senior? Proven experience in Credit control/collections with a track record of reducing aged debt and improving cash collection performance Ability to prioritise and manage workloads by value and risk Strong attention to detail Excellent customer service and stakeholder relationship management Strong Finance knowledge, with relevant qualifications, such as AAT level 4 Were looking for a candidate with experience in a similar role.
