Role Overview:
As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering child-centred learning through a play-based curriculum. You will foster curiosity, confidence, and development in a safe, supportive classroom environment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons that meet early learning goals.
* Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere to encourage exploration and play.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
* Work in partnership with teaching assistants, parents, and carers to support each child’s development.
* Ensure a safe and secure environment that promotes emotional and physical wellbeing.
Requirements for EYFS Teacher:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable.
* Specialism or strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
* Experience teaching in an EYFS setting.
* ECTs welcome to apply.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
