The position involves working with various tools and equipment, ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.*Duties** Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals* Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks* Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify issues accurately* Carry out equipment repair and welding as required to restore vehicle functionality* Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement projects* Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction* Perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment in accordance with safety guidelines*Qualifications** Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role within the automotive industry* Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components* Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialised diagnostic tools* Knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail* Good communication skills for effective customer interaction* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are preferred but not essentialThis position provides an engaging environment for those eager to develop their skills within a professional automotive workshop.
