1. Responsible for commodity analysis
2. Responsible for supplier assessment & selection process
3. Develop innovative supplier partnerships to create a lean supply chains
4. Create and develop the strategic direction for all assigned commodity groups
5. Review current supply base to ensure “fit for purpose” against strategic objectives
6. Ensure Long Term Agreements (LTA) are in place for all strategic commodity groups
7. Reduce or eliminate all non-value adding activity
8. Identify Supplier cost savings
9. Manage tactical escalation of supplier issues
10. Management of Supply Chain activities related to NPD and Engineering change
11. Identify areas of risk in the supply chain, effectively prioritise, develop and implement plans to mitigate such risks
12. Conduct logistic analysis to determine most cost effective, efficient modes and methods with both suppliers and customers
13. Monitor and report Purchase Price Index (PPI) to create and implement improvement plans
Experience Required:
14. Proven experience in strategic Procurement positions, running tenders, negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts
15. Experience of International Purchasing (preferable)
