Long-Term Opportunity | Temporary, Temp-to-Perm or Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Agent to join a major infrastructure project based West of Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on a long-term programme of works involving reinforced concrete structures, including multiple bridge structures.
The client is open to considering candidates on a temporary, temp-to-permanent or permanent basis, with an immediate start available.
The Role:
You will take responsibility for managing key structures packages on site, reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, and leading site teams including Engineers and Foremen.
Duties will include:
* Managing reinforced concrete structures works
* Overseeing the design coordination process
* Programming and short-term planning
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
* Commercial awareness across packages and subcontractors
* Managing site teams and driving project delivery
* Liaising with clients, design teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
* Strong civil engineering / structures background
* Reinforced concrete experience is essential
* Bridge experience advantageous but not essential
* Previous experience as a Project Manager or Site Agent on infrastructure projects
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid required
