Salary: Band A - £24,309 (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: Part Time 1: Thursday - 11:00-16:30, Friday - 11:00-16:30, Sunday - 07:30-13:30 / Part Time 2: Saturday - 07:30-17:00, Sunday - 13:00-18:30
Wymondham Leisure Centre boasts an 80+ station state of the art 2 floor gym, with 3 studios, 25m Lane pool & Learner Pool, Thermal Suite, Multi-functional Sports Hall, and over 90+ classes a week. We are looking for a personable individual with a love for fitness and wellbeing to join our hard-working and passionate team where you will deliver a high standard of service to our members.
This role is highly customer focused and very rewarding as you will play a key part in assisting members with achieving their goals and creating gym plans tailored to these. You will also be able to instruct classes (where necessary and qualification dependent), creating a fun and motivating environment for our members. Specific responsibilities will include:
* Supervising the gym area
* Ensuring cleanliness of the Fitness Areas
* Undertaking gym inductions, gym programmes and initial consultations in line with South Norfolk Leisure's Members Journey
* Delivering E-GYM inductions
* Setting up activities within the centre such as badminton, football, fitness classes etc
* Instructing classes (wherever necessary and qualification dependant)
* Assisting with centre tours and membership sales
* Assisting Front of House team at reception
* Ensuring the centre is well run, clean and ready for business
If you are a customer focused and motivated person, with a L2 gym instructor qualification and you would like to gain experience of the full range of activities within a leisure centre, we would welcome your application. There is also an opportunity to Personal Train in addition to this role.
