Job Title: Sub Agent Location: Eastbourne (High Street Regeneration Project) Rate: £375 per day (LTD or CIS) Contract Type: Freelance Duration: Long-term Working Pattern: 5 days per week on site About the Role A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support delivery of a major high street regeneration scheme in Eastbourne. This is a long-term freelance opportunity for a proactive and technically strong individual who thrives in a site-based environment and is confident managing packages from inception through to completion. The role will involve taking ownership of key elements of the works, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery in line with programme and commercial targets. Key Responsibilities Managing and coordinating subcontractors and direct workforce on site Supporting the Agent / Project Manager with programme delivery and reporting Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures Reviewing and implementing RAMS and ensuring compliance on site Monitoring progress against programme and driving productivity Liaising with stakeholders including local authorities, utilities, and the public Managing quality assurance processes and documentation Assisting with cost control, variations, and record keeping Producing short-term programmes and lookahead plans Requirements Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on highways, public realm, or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of NEC contracts SMSTS CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred) First Aid at Work Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a live public environment What's on Offer £375 per day (LTD or CIS) Long-term freelance engagement 5 days per week on site Opportunity to work on a high-profile town centre regeneration project
