Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Infrastructure (Messaging) Engineer works as a member of a collaborative team responsible for architecting, implementing, and supporting the Microsoft Teams telephony and meetings platform. The Engineer performs technical services as required to ensure the accessibility, quality, and security of services provided to the Firm. The Engineer supports domestic and international offices with distinct local configurations with direct routing or SBCs as necessary; country specific calling plans; and endpoints on workstations, mobile, conference room, SIP, and ATA devices. The Engineer works through the Microsoft Teams administrative console, EntraID, conditional access policies, and application configuration policies. The Engineer is responsible for independently maintaining and upgrading skills through ongoing training, education, Firm sponsored educational events, self-study, or collaboration with peers. Also, requires working outside of normal working hours as deemed necessary to meet the Firm’s objectives.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Minimum five (5) years of experience in Microsoft Teams integration, implementation, or technical support.
* Experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or comparable service industry is desirable.
