Our projects division is experiencing significant growth, and we are looking for a talented Senior Technical Engineer to be a key part of our expansion. The Opportunity: This is a pivotal role where you will be the technical authority for our generator projects. Working closely with our Project Manager and sales team, you will be responsible for: Designing bespoke standby generator solutions: From initial concept to detailed specifications, ensuring compliance with UK regulations (BS 7671, G99) and client requirements. Producing comprehensive quotations: Translating technical designs into clear, accurate, and commercially viable proposals. Providing expert technical support: Assisting project engineers and customers with complex technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Driving technical excellence: Maintaining and developing our technical standards, documentation, and RAMS templates. You will benefit from a structured handover period with our retiring Technical Manager, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of knowledge. What We're Looking For: We need an experienced professional with a proven background in standby generator systems. You'll have a deep understanding of LV electrical power distribution, controls, and integration. Your ability to conduct site surveys, interpret client needs, and translate them into practical, compliant designs will be crucial.
